Lune is my bard that is part of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign where she is learning to become a dragon rider at an academy. This is (may not even happen, time may tell) a note that I wrote for her to another player’s character that she cares about deeply. I made her French, i even looked up some word to use through out the campaign when I do her lines.
Dear mon cœur,
Please, don’t chase after me… I’ve gone deep undercover to protect you and all of our amies and families.
No matter what happens, know that you are a piece of my heart—and that will never change, mon cœur. I will always carry you there, wherever I go. I will cherish the memories we’ve made together.
I’m glad I finally worked up the courage to ask to draw you—it’s something I will never forget. It was one of the happiest days of my life, and the ice cream we had afterward was absolutely delicious, mon cœur.
Please know that I will do everything in my power to protect you, our amies, and everyone else dear to our hearts. The Dragon Imperium must be stopped at all costs.
I was told I could only tell one of you what I am doing, and I chose you, mon cœur, because of your strength, intelligence, and fiery fighting spirit. I know, deep in my heart, that you will persevere through this—you are the strongest among us.
Please take care of the others while I’m gone, especially Guillaume. He’s very headstrong, with his head stuck in the clouds, and doesn’t yet understand the true strength of dragons or what we’re truly up against—they are far more powerful than any mech suit.
Please trust in our new friend, the une petite elfe, Aura. She is a very capable healer—I can see it deep within her.
And don’t let Mia worry too much about who to trust or not; if she does, her lovely hair may fall out. Just know that we have powerful allies at our backs, and we must believe in their strength.
